Teodora Selea is a research assistant at the West University of Timișoara (UVT) at the Faculty of Computer Science.

Her research focuses on deep learning methods for computer vision and remote sensing and cloud-native, scalable processing of Earth observation data.

Teodora holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s degree and PhD in Computer Science from UVT, where her PhD thesis was focused on large-scale crop type mapping.

She was also involved in teaching undergraduate laboratory courses, including Python Programming and Algorithmics I and II.
