Margherita Di Leo is an engineer with a PhD in Methods and Technologies for Environmental Monitoring.

She has been an OSGeo charter member since 2011 and has contributed to GRASS GIS, OSGeoLive, GSoC@OSGeo among others.

She works at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission in Italy as an external consultant.
