Recas Winery is one of Romania’s most prominent and modern wine producers, located in the city of Recas, Timis County, in the Banat region in western Romania. Founded in the early 2000s, this winery has quickly established itself as a leader in Romanian viticulture and winemaking.
Situated in the Banat wine region, Recas benefits from an ideal continental climate with Pannonian influences, warm summers, mild winters, and well-drained soils that provide excellent conditions for grape cultivation. The winery’s vineyards span several hundred hectares across gently rolling hills.
Recas produces an impressive range of wines, from crisp white varieties like Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Riesling, to robust reds including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Pinot Noir. They are particularly known for their premium selections and limited editions that showcase the potential of Romanian terroir.
Recas has gained international recognition, with its wines being exported to numerous countries and receiving awards at prestigious wine competitions. The winery has become a symbol of Romanian winemaking, combining innovation with respect for local grape varieties and traditions.

We offer wine tasting paired with an abundant buffet featuring authentic Romanian cuisine and international favorites, together with a carefully curated selection of wines and artisanal accompaniments including fresh bread with olive oil, assorted local cheeses, cured ham, and premium chocolate.
Buffet features for Wednesday evening include fresh salmon, oven-roasted chicken, tender pork tenderloin, traditional beef goulash, succulent pork ribs, layered polenta with cheese and sour cream, herb-roasted potatoes, seasonal roasted vegetables, fresh cabbage salad, caprese salad with tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil, apple, cheese, and poppy seed cake, hot peppers, fresh sour cream, artisanal bread, and beverages including selected wines, water, and freshly brewed coffee.
This culinary journey combines the rich flavors of Romanian traditional cooking with modern gastronomy, perfectly complemented by wine selection and good music.
